warrant of fitness
A Warrant of Fitness inspection is not just about getting a WOF sticker for your vehicle.
It is a regular check to ensure your car is safe to drive on the road.
WOF authority for cars, 4WD’s, trailers and motorcycles. It is good practice to keep your vehicle up to WOF condition at all times. While tyres on your vehicle may pass on the day of your warrant inspection, you’ll need to replace them as soon as the tread gets to the minimum depth. If you wait until the next inspection before replacing them, you increase your risk of having a crash or receiving a fine.
If you’ve modified your car, motorcycle, van or other light vehicle you may need a low volume vehicle certificate.
What our clients have to say...
We’re a family owned food manufacturer based in Woolston, Christchurch. Over the years we have built a network of service providers that help keep our business rolling and this includes maintenance of our business delivery van and sales vehicle. While Joel and his team at Mighty Kiwi are conveniently located around the corner from our premises, the two things we really appreciate and make us loyal customers are their prompt attention to our vehicles so as to minimise the time vehicles are off the road and Joel’s practical and honest advice on the most cost effective solution for servicing and repairs. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joel and his team at Mighty Kiwi to other businesses or individuals.
Brent & Jo Williamson, Golden Goose Foods

“We recently changed over to Mighty Kiwi to take over the maintenance and up keep of our Combi-lift straddle carrier. We have formed a great relationship and great communication with Joel in getting our work done, even working around my busy schedule. I highly recommend Mighty Kiwi”
Darryn Ingram, AFFCO Holdings
Mighty Kiwi Commercial have been servicing and warranting our work vehicles, forklift, trailer and also personal vehicles for over a year. We have found the standard of work and service to be excellent. Joel and the team have found faults in our vehicles and talked us through the repairs so we know exactly where we stood at the time. Our vehicles have also been delivered back to us on the odd occasion after the job has been completed, which has been really convenient. I would highly recommend Mighty Kiwi Commercial to anyone who is in need of a reliable, experienced team of mechanics.
